Gail Veley’s passion and unending devotion to horses led her to write “My Top Ten Favorite Horse Stories – and the lessons learned” available by visiting Amazon.com or the Kindle bookstore! Veley’s Career Highlights Include:
- Owning and managing The Ranchette Veley Equestrian Center in St. George, Utah for 22 years.
- Managing and hosting Horse Shows and Horse Camps at The Ranchette Veley Equestrian Center.
- Being a lifelong horse show competitor in dressage.
- Training off-the-track thoroughbreds for second careers as well as rescuing and rehabilitating horses.
- Being certified with The American Riding Instructor’s Association for 30 years.
- Judging dressage shows, hunter jumper shows and 4-H horse shows.
- Being a Dressage demonstration rider and lecturer at Equine Affaire in Columbus, Ohio.
- Serving as President, Vice President and Board Member of the Color Country Equestrian Club from 2002 to 2008.
- Participating in clinics with Grand Prix Rider Kamila Dupont in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Working as a Wrangler at Peaceful Valley Ranch in Lyons, Colorado and as a Horse Back Riding Instructor at Camp Lohikan in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains.
- Eventing at the Beginner Novice, Novice and Training Levels.
